Welcome to Mrs. Varner’s Class Health “It’s not how much or what you know, it’s what you do with what you know.”

A little bit about me: Graduated from PHS Graduated from UAB (Health and History Education with a concentration in Sports Medicine) 13th year teaching (12th at PHS) 1st year teaching Health at PHS Married with 2 boys

A look around the room

Class Routine Students come in class and take any item that is on the bench in the front of the room. Turn in any work from the day before on the podium. Students complete bell ringer that is normally on the projector. Complete class assignment. Normally notes, activity, and/or video. Mrs. Varner dismisses class when bell rings.

Make-up work Make-up work is the student’s responsibility How can my child find out what is missed? Calendar Website Ask a friend Students must schedule a time to make up tests (normally during AO period) I give until the end of the 9 weeks to complete any make up test
