Cultural References There is a Broadway musical called Assassins based on people who attempted or killed the president of the United States. Book called, Squeaky: The Life and Times of Lynette Fromme. “How much will you give for the lives of your childrens children, which is yourself? How much are people willing to give up for air, earth, water, animals, and the coming generations? I think the answer to that is pretty clear.”

Differential-Association Theory Lynette was a Manson girl, after she ran left home again, she met Manson. Soon, she accepted his life style and took part in his family life style. Even though, she was not convicted of any of the murders during the La-Bianca trial, she still was there to support her family. After, she still did criminal actions that she felt Manson would want her to do. She was lost after the conviction so she would follow Manson around from his different prisons. Soon after, she was convicted of attempted murder. Overall, Lynette was a lost girl that Manson found and soon became part of a family that was not good for her.
