Why Spanish? Understand culture- The spanish-Speaking world is rich in music, food, art, literature, history, and traditions. Expand career opportunities- Businesses look for people who can communicate in Spanish. Enjoy your Spanish experiences- travel to Mexico, explore many beautiful Latin American countries, enjoy meals at any Hispanic restaurant. Improve your language skills- Studying Spanish improves your first language skills: Vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing.

Write “si” if you think the person is Hispanic Write “No” if you think the person is not Hispanic.

Racial Diversity Hispanics are often treated as a group apart from whites, blacks or other races, they actually include people who may identify with any or all of those racial groups. In the mass media as well as popular culture, "Hispanic" is often incorrectly used to physically describe a person with dark brown skin or dark hair. Hispanic people are Mestizo, Native American, Blacks, Whites and Mulato
