Marbury v. Madison (1803) President Adams appointed many Judges to the federal courts after his defeat to President Jefferson.

Gibbons v. Ogden (1824) This Decision involved a carful examination of the power to “Regulate interstate commerce.” It deals with the supremacy clause saying that a license form the national government supersedes the state government.

Mapp V. Ohio (1962) Protects citizens from unlawful search and seizure.

Miranda v. Arizona (1966) Must be read your rights in your native language.
