Lesson 5 + 6: Types of development – Bottom-Up MUST: To recognise and describe the typical features of a bottom-up approach and understand what is meant by sustainable development SHOULD: To describe and begin to explain the advantages and disadvantages of bottom-up schemes and to understand what is meant by sustainable development and appropriate technology COULD: To explain the advantages and disadvantage of bottom-up schemes with reference to a specific case study and to evaluate how effective they are
