Before you get started 12/9/2018 It is important that you complete all sections in this learning tool as it has been designed so that You can abide by the procedures of our organization. You can apply what you have learnt in this package in your day to day activities This Learning Tool is designed to be relevant only to DGL (Aust) Pty Ltd employees and only applied whilst employed with DGL (Aust) Pty Ltd You may have already acquired knowledge in the area identified in this package as you may have completed some specialized training. Or you may have been working within the industry for some time. Movement in Stramit sites Employees must walk on designated (marked) pathways wherever possible. Vehicles Shall comply with site posted speed limits 12/9/2018

Pre- Start Inspections This is compulsory for all vehicles within the fleet! Failure to do so will cause DGL to lose NHVAS accreditation. It’s crucial to have this performed as pre and post inspection, including damages to DGL fleet by forklift drivers from loading of trucks. Using procedure P-260 and Check List F-220flt. 12/9/2018

P.P.E. The following are the required standard for all Stramit Drivers. Long legged Trousers. Long sleeved Shirts (not rolled up). Steel Capped Boots. when working around or on vehicles Gloves Hard Hat, Chin Strap. Safety Glasses 12/9/2018

Load Restraint As all drivers will undergone Stramit Mixed Load Restraint training it is expected that all drivers will apply the training when restraining loads. Particular attention must be paid to sharp edges, binder strap sleeves are to protect the straps, where the possibility of cuts to strapping my occur. There must be no unrestrained product on vehicles. Any product that has been damaged during loading/ unloading must be photographed and brought to the attention of the supervisor immediately.

Deliveries Upon arrival at a delivery site determine if site access is safe. If not, permission to enter site form F470 must be filled in and signed off by customer. All product to be placed inside boundary of site. If not possible, contact office that delivery will be on nature strip.

Deliveries continued When using crane, follow procedures to safe operation of crane as per your licence. Power lines safety distance, Stabiliser legs on firm ground or on pads, Slings are on safe condition,no through traffic whilst performing crane work. When finished using crane, secure stabiliser legs, all equipment used has been stowed away safely and locked away

Deliveries continued On completion of delivery Signature must be obtained including Printed name(very important). If no-one is on site photographs must be taken consisting of : Sticker displaying order number. Entire product showing individual bundles. Site number or address if displayed

Deliveries continued 4. Front or all of property. 5. All boxes. Any missing or damaged goods must be reported to office immediately. After completing delivery load must be restrained correctly again.

Return to Depot Upon returning to depot, all timbers, and loose materials (corflute etc) must be placed in correct area to prepare truck for reloading. Truck is to be cleaned out (mud in cabin etc), And wiped over to remove dirt etc at end of day. Paperwork must be filled out correctly and handed into supervisor for checking. Ensure all columns and lines are filled out. Fatigue (work/rest) line is completed and signed off.

Question 5 What must you do if you find product is damaged? Take Photographs and notify supervisor immediately Delivery product and hope customer does not notice Exchange product before leaving depot Do nothing, just deliver what you can 12/9/2018

Question 6 What must be done on retuning to depot? Return non delivered product to stock Clean truck inside and out Just park up truck hand in paperwork Remove loose timber and other items (corflute) from truck to storage area, clean truck inside and wipe outside ensure paperwork is completed correctly and hand in 12/9/2018
