EASE

What is EASE? When buying a sound system for your venue or even your home you need the assurance that your selection will perform in the manner you expect. Ease can predict performance in detail.

EASE is a CAD program that allows us to; Confirm the acoustic properties of the room we are working in Confirm the performance of our sound system design in that environment

Indoor Aquatic Center This EASE model was drawn from architects plans before construction started. Large venues like indoor swimming pools typically have very poor acoustics. This one was no different. The architect had specified acoustic tiles suspended from the ceiling in an attempt to overcome the problem expected.

Close up of Acoustic Panels Fitted to Ceiling They did not work!

The best indicator of a rooms acoustic nature is the reverberation time. That is the amount of time a sound takes to dissipate in the room. A high reverb time ( anything above 2 seconds) will cause problems. As you can see the aquatic center measurements are well above this even though the sound tiles were fitted to the ceiling. Reverb Calculations

Speech Intelligibility at 2000hz EASE Predicts things such as speech intelligibility, a vital requirement of any sound system in a public space.

How Can EASE help me? Learn exactly how any sound system is going to perform in your venue EASE models provide an exceptional reference point when evaluating tenders. Models done from building plans, know before building even starts and be able to make changes if problems are found.

Call or Smart Sound and Video now! 5 year warranty on any system designed by us and installed as per that design and equipment specification. If you want a sound system that meets all of your expectations! (09)
