What does surroundings mean? Everything that is around me! Our main theme is Me and My Surroundings. What does surroundings mean? Everything that is around me! So what is around me? What will we talk about? Our next step is brainstorm!!!

We will start from OURSELVES – All About Me! Who are the important PEOPLE in your life? My Family, My Friends and People Who Help Us. What PLACES do you go to? I go to School, the Park, the Beach, a Restaurant, on Holiday, to the City or in the Countryside. How do you get there? Means of TRANSPORT – by bus, car, bike, walk, motorbike, aeroplane, train ... Where do you live? I live in a Village or a Town, on the island of Malta, which is found in Europe – one of the continents on our Planet Earth!

All About Me!!! This is me – my self-portrait! I have a body. I can see the outside of my body. This is the inside of my body. A skeleton lives inside me! My favourite things – what I like to do ... What makes me happy ... My feelings – sometimes I feel happy, sad, angry, calm, excited, tired, jealous, proud ...

The People in My Life My family takes good care of me. I like to play with my friends. My teachers help me to learn new things. My football coach helps me to improve my football skills. My dance teacher helps me to learn the steps. A policeman, a doctor and a dentist help me when I’m hurt or when I’m not well. A shopkeeper, the bus driver, my mum’s helper, a waiter and other people help us everyday!
