Writing Choose a writing prompt from the October calendar Math: Place Value/ Skip Counting We will review how to read and write 3-digit numbers to 1,000. We will also learn how to skip count by 5s, 10s, and 100s within 1,000. Math Play the Pac Man Expanded Form math game on the class webpage Writing: Informational Writing We will begin our unit on informational writing. We will learn how to introduce a topic and use facts to develop points about our topic. Spelling Continue to work on the Pumpkin Book Report Project and answering the questions Reading Read an informational book for 20 minutes – practice asking and answering questions Science: Economics We will identify and describe four ways in which goods and services are allocated.
