Student Representatives role Acts as a link between IEEE student organizations in the section and the Executive committee. Understand the role in carrying out the student-related goals and objectives of the Section. Coordinating and encouraging activities of interest to all IEEE student organizations that report to the Section. Work closely with Student Branches and its sub-unit Chairs and other leaders in your Section in carrying out these activities. Passes on to successor all relevant records at the end of term. 12/9/2018

Our vision - To promote to the IEEE and wider its impact in Tunisia - To encourage members to participate in the next TSYPC and MSYP. Help SBs chairs and members to learn more about the benefits of IEEE and the role of the Tunisia Section - To coordinate with the Section’SA officers and stimulate fruitful collaborations. 12/9/2018

Our actions Collaborated with the SA and organised meetings with Tunisia SBs Chairs to explain for them the role of the Tunisia Section and to inform them about the new goals and vision and to hear their issues about their Branches and to answer on their questions conecrning IEEE. Organised information Sessions to promote for IEEE and introduce the Tunisia Section to old and new members. Contacted the SBs chairs and asked them to give us reports about their activities and what do they need from the Section. 12/9/2018

SBs concerns Memberships payment :in many SBs we noticed that it’s the same problem every time there’s recruitment which is how to pay the memberships fees of the new members. Visa Card is not always available and a CTI (ITC) for one member costs 15DT , but the major concern for this period is that it needs 20 days to have one CTI and that’s too long especially that the new members want to participate in IEEEXtreme (24th of October) and IEEEDay. Paying the fees through an association seems the most adequate way that’s why it’s better to send instructions to the SBs chairs to explain that further. 12/9/2018

SBs concerns Funding the important events like forums and conferences: The student members are always finding issues with profiding the necessary funding each time they tend to organise events like IEEEDay , regional and international conferences espacially for the chapters Lack of communication between SBs. Lack of communication between the members in some SBs 12/9/2018

What the SBs are expecting from Tunisia Section new ExCom Expect mutual understanding and constant communication. Expect financial support and giddiness when organizing big events. Look forwards to working together in order to promote IEEE in Tunisia 12/9/2018

Thank you ! 12/9/2018
