Exceeds the Standard (4) Grading Exceeds the Standard (4) The student can perform with good musicianship and identify the musical concept on their own, and is able to add their own ideas and make connections to other concepts.  Meets the Standard (3) The student can perform with good musicianship and identify the musical concept on their own.   Progressing Towards the Standard (2) The student can perform and identify the musical concept most of the time. They still need help from the teacher.  Below the Standard (1) The student is not quite sure of the concept. They need a lot of help from the teacher.

PRIDE in MUSIC Make Good Choices. Use your best voice. Smile LOUDLY! Involve yourself in all activities. Cooperate with others.

PRIDE in MUSIC Music Superstar- one student will be chosen during each class session for going above and beyond showing his/her PRIDE. He/she will receive « Loot » for his/her « Noteworthy » behavior. Class of the Month- voted on by all Specialists for class recognition of showing PRIDE across all specials thoughout the month.

Things to look forward to in MUSIC Reading books about music. Listening to different types of music. Making music. Lot of singing, dancing, and playing instruments! Smiling, laughing, and having fun!
