Hope On Tuesday the 12th June all the year 9 girls took part in “women in industry morning”. There were 16 different women of different occupations who had all experienced different struggles and rewards on the path that they took.

Hope I really enjoyed last week and am glad the students did too.” Rachael Hall – Pilates instructor.

Hope “It was a pleasure to meet the girls and a real honour to be involved in such a positive and encouraging event.” Ruth Downie -author “It was a fun day. I loved the girls enthusiasm!” Emma Norton – film producer

Hope “It was a great morning and a well organised event!” Samantha Wilson –apprenticeships curriculum team leader. It was very interesting and I found the talks inspirational!” Lily Ball – student who attended.

Hope “It was a pleasure to meet the girls and a real honour to be involved in such a positive and encouraging event.” Ruth Downie -author “Being independent and proving we can do just as well as men is important” Emily Burgess – student who attended.

Hope One woman who we find inspirational is Emma Watson. She is a strong hearted, hard working campaigner for woman's rights as well as being an extremely successful actress. “I don’t want other people to decide what I am, I want to decide that for myself” – Emma Watson.
