Nursing Hires Retirement of full-time Pediatric instructor Pediatric clinical rotation now at UCSF Benioff Oakland Need 5 content experts: Pediatric, Maternity, Mental Health , Medical, and Gerontology Retirement of skills lab coordinator Students must do a return demonstration of all skills taught in the program in the skills lab before on a patient (per BRN guidelines)

If the school continues to be in noncompliance, the recommended Board action may be “warning status, with intent to close the nursing program.” The majority of the faculty should be full-time BRN regulation CCR 1425.1 and meet the intent of CCR 1424(g). DATE: August 7, 2014

CCR 1424 (g) The faculty shall be adequate in type and number to develop and implement the program approved by the board, and shall include at least one qualified instructor in each of the areas of nursing required by section 1426(d) who will be the content expert in that area.

CCR 1425 A program shall report to the board all changes in faculty, including changes in teaching areas, prior to employment of, or within 30 days after, termination of employment of a faculty member. Such changes shall be reported on forms provided by the board
