Over the past couple of months our team has made some great improvements to the Dev Center experience and I want to share some of those improvements with you today. You want the ability to: Schedule an initial promotional price that increases after a certain time Schedule a game as free for a weekend, then revert back to paid Configure a game for a percentage off discount (40% discount) Offer a special discount for owners of your other games We set out on this journey to revamp the way you can control your games price based on feedback we’ve received from you. Here are some of the scenarios you said you guys wanted to be able to easily control: Schedule an initial promotional price that increases after a certain time Schedule a game as free for a weekend, then revert back to paid Configure a game for a percentage off discount (40% discount) Offer a special discount for owners of your other games Today I’m proud to say that all of these scenarios can now be addressed from within Dev Center with just a few clicks. What does your customer see? I’ve showed you how to setup sales as a developer but how does your customer know there’s a sale going on? On your product page on the store, your customers will see strikethrough pricing. They will also see the percentage discount you are offering and the time remaining on that offer to hopefully motivate them to purchase soon.
