Acoustics play an integral role in any space. Surface finishes selected must enhance the indoor environmental quality (IEQ) of a space relative to its functionality.

Key factors to consider are:

Speech intelligibility

Speech privacy

Sound intrusion a sound perceived or understood as not belonging or inappropriate to a given sound environment, and thereby a contributor to SOUND POLLUTION.SOUND POLLUTION
