Explorer Postage Stamp Task: Create a postage stamp that honors an explorer whose exploration impacted the Western Hemisphere. Your stamp MUST include I. A picture of your explorer II. Symbols that represent aspects of your explorer or his explorations Date of birth and death, if known Country of Origin (the sponsoring country) Route explored VI. Ways in which people honor the explorer. For example: statues, naming of parks, buildings, bridges, or schools.
