Recap of Rotation 1 What is a general definition of a ‘mixture’? List some examples of mixtures you encountered during the first rotation and explain what made them a mixture.

A Mixture is…. Any substance that is made up of two or more pure substances that have been mixed together and Can be separated back into their original substances.

Table Group Discussion The term water means different things to different people. To scientists, water is a pure chemical of H2O. Discuss ways in which indigenous Australians could clean the dirty water to make it drinkable. Record your group discussions in your Science/World book.
