Francisco was a nobleman. His sponsoring nation was Spain.

His exploration started in 1540 His exploration started in 1540. He started exploring to find riches in the Aztec Empire. In the seven city of gold. It was told it had as much Aztec Empire.

His second trip was to spread Christianity because after the first trip he was thrown into jail because he found no gold.

He found Rio Grand, Grand Canyon and Kansas
