Introduction Eurostat Unit A3 collects data from: Enlargement countries: the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Albania (candidate countries), Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo (potential candidates); ENP (European Neighbourhood Policy) countries ENP-East countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, ENP-South countries: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia. The data are used for various purposes, including the Progress Report published by the Commission for the enlargement and most of the ENP countries, for publications, free dissemination on Eurostat website, etc.
