SOCIAL DIALOGUE COMMITTEE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATIONS (SDC CGA) Past and Future Activities

Italy is Chair of EUPAE and is holding the Presidency of the SDC CGA in 2017

I/ Follow-ups and monitoring of adopted texts: The 3rd SDC CGA Work Programme 2016-2018 was approved in June 2016: I/ Follow-ups and monitoring of adopted texts: Agreement on Information and consultation rights of workers and their representatives adopted on 21 December 2015 Legal aspects of the agreement being currently analyzed by the EC – a response is expected in the short term A questionnaire will be circulated soon to assess the representativeness of the Committee 2017: Possible meeting with Junker Cabinet and interaction with EC to solve any legal obstacles

2. Framework Agreement for a quality service in central administrations (12.12.12) A monitoring questionnaire was circulated among member countries. Deadline 15 January 2017: Analysis of questionnaires and preparation of a report; first discussion on working conditions of personnel employed in migration and asylum services 3. Work life balance and equal pay between women and men 2017: SDC CGA could apply for an EC funded project in May/June. The specific themes/objectives are currently being discussed

II/ Well-being at work – prevention of psychosocial risks III/ Modernisation of administrations in the context of the European Semester and crisis The topic was addressed by the Committee in the Plenary and WG meetings with presentations from the EC and the European Social Observatory 2017: The SDC CGA is going to draft a shared document on this issue
