How to write a lab report Lab reports include sub titles In the correct order. Some sub titles must be included. Title: Introduction: Purpose: Hypothesis: Materials: List or refer to text pg or hand out Procedure: List steps or refer to text pg or hand out Observations: Record observation/data in a table if possible. Include graphs & calculations You may attach observation tables; graphs etc at the end but you must have the “Observations” sub title in the correct order -> state “see attached” Analysis & Questions: Conclusion: refer to purpose or hypothesis

Most marks for a lab report are given for the Observations & mainly Analysis
