Jefferson National Expansion Memorial Jefferson National Expansion Memorial is located in St. Louis, Missouri. The Arch and Museum of Westward Expansion was completed on October 28, 1965 The Arch has foundations that are sunk 60 feet in the ground! The Old Court House is located 2 blocks from the Arch, and was here when the first two Dred Scott cases were held in 1847 and 1850. The Old Court House is also one of the oldest standing buildings in St. Louis. The park grounds and surrounding area around the museum were closed to make way for a whole new museum. The Arch was also under construction, but remained open. The Arch and Museum of Westward Expansion are now better and bigger!

Ulysses S. Grant National Historic site The park’s name is Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site. It is in St. Louis, Missouri. The geographical features are trees and bushes. The animals are bison, bear, beaver, otter, and elk. There is over 60 species of birds and there are 20 species of mammals. The plants are tree litter, tree canopies, shrubs, and grasses. Ulysses S. Grant was the 18th president. He was in the Civil War.

Harry S. Truman National Historic Site Plants and Animals Other Facts Some plants are shingle oak and sugar maple trees, shrubs are flowering quince and sweet mock, flowers are roses, tulips and daffodils. Some animals are cardinal birds. State Missouri Location Independence, Missouri Created in 1894 Mr. Truman worked on the farm till 1906 to 1917. Mr. Truman was our 33rd president.

Wilson Creek National Battlefield Wilson Creek National Battlefield is in Wilson’s Creek, Missouri Wilson Creek National Battlefield was created on August 10, 1861 Lake Springfield, Fellows Lake, Little Sac River, McDaniel Lake, and Table Rock Lake are all close to Wilson Creek National Battlefield Wilson Creek National Battlefield was the 1st battlefield west of the Mississippi River The 1st Union general that was killed in action west of the Mississippi River The 2nd major battle of the Civil War Confederate won

Ozark National Scenic River ways Ozark National Scenic River ways is in Missouri. This was the first to protect a wild river system. There is a Ozark Hellbender and people fish. Some plants are Marsh blue violet flowers, twayblade, and more. People canoe, swim, and fish. The park is home to freshwater springs.
