Advanced Higher Project-dissertation The Project-dissertation has a word range of 4000 to 5000 words. the word count should be submitted with completed project-dissertation. The word count includes the evaluation of research methods but excludes references, bibliography, contents page, footnotes and appendices. if the word count exceeds the maximum by 10%, a penalty will be applied. has a maximum mark of 50 which is almost 36% of the total mark for the Course.
