Thermal Transport Across Organic/Inorganic Interfaces Simon R. Phillpot, Department of Material Science and Engineering, University of Florida, FL 32611 The interface between diamond and polyethylene shows strong covalent bonding for the, from left to right, (001), (011) and (111) diamond surfaces. In each panel the diamond is on the left and the polyethylene is on the right. The thermal conductivity of a polyethylene-polyacetylene copolymer depends on the composition in a strongly nonlinear manner.
