What is the Matter? States of matter – Physical forms in which matter can exist Matter – made up of tiny particles – atoms, molecules

Kinetic Theory of Matter States that matter is made of tiny particles (atoms or molecules), which are in constant and random motion. Proof – Brownian Motion Explains different states of matter and properties

1. Solids - 2 Categories: Crystalline – Orderly 3-dimensional repeating arrangement of particles in rows- e.g. salt, ice, diamonds
