CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER Colourless: water is a substance without colour

CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER Odourless: water has not got odour. Insipid/Tasteless: water is a substance without taste.

CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER Water turns to solid (ice) when the temperature reaches 0º C. It turns to gas when the temperature reaches 100ºC.

CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER Ice floats in the water.

CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER Water dissolves a lot of substances, so salt and gases (O2 and CO2) dissolve in it

CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER To get pure water, we must take the water out of the solution, leaving salt behind.
