SHRM Marketing of Chapters to At-Large Members WEBCAST – MARCH 20, 2015

SHRM Promotes Chapter Membership in a Variety of Ways to At-large Members Throughout the year, SHRM sends a variety of messages to members to create awareness of chapters and the value of belonging to SHRM and the chapter: Efforts are segmented based upon variety of factors – all members do not receive all promotional messages

Postcard A postcard is sent twice a year - spring and fall to 1-2 year at-large members Creates awareness of chapters and the benefits of joining a local chapter

Onboarding E-mail Messaging for New Members As a part of SHRM’s onboarding process, new members receive a series of messages in the 2nd and 3rd months after becoming a member: Messages that specifically highlight chapter membership and others that are incorporated with other benefits listings

New Member Welcome Kit New members receive a Welcome Kit via US mail during their first month of membership Insert includes a Communities section which includes information about SHRM’s local chapters.
