Book Club #1: Meet for 30 minutes to discuss your books. You might start by discussing some specific questions; if each club member read a different novel, you might start by letting each person do a brief book talk. At some point, try to engage in the kinds of activities you think your students might do, or in the kinds of activities you might assign your students to do, if you were to use book clubs in your own classroom.

If you haven’t yet decided on (and claimed) your book(s) for Book Club #2, please do so tonight.
