Application Process Processrant Programmes Attend a funding advice session Read the guidance notes Complete online application by deadline date Take part in assessment Funded groups focused on three main areas (2017): 49% Improving health and wellbeing 32% Reducing isolation 19% Reducing inequalities Funding advice sessions, 45 minutes with a Grants Adviser, face to face or call/Skype. Face to face in Edinburgh and Glasgow plus four additional locations in the year. Applications online- can draft then go in and out before sending. Paper application available too Assessment will last about an hour 32%

Points to Note Unlikely to fund charities which hold more than 12 months unrestricted funds Accept one application per year from charity. Some reasons - may be unsuccessful - Inadequate focus on members of the community experiencing disadvantage Lack of information around what difference our funding will make and longer term impact
