Managing Useful Skills To Achieve Necessary Goals Hallways Cafeteria Move Expeditiously Use shortest route Stay on your side of the hall Talk and walk at the same time Always be polite Never stand in the hallway blocking others Get to your classes quickly and safely Cafeteria Maintain line courtesy Understand that cutting in line is wrong Sit with feet under the table Talk at the appropriate level Allow for time to eat your lunch it time allotted Never argue or fight in the cafeteria Get your friends to help clean your table after lunch Parking Lot Make sure you have insurance, sticker, and have paid the fee Understand you will be towed without sticker, insurance or paid fee Slow speeds to allow for everyone’s safety Take your time pulling in and out for safety purposes Accelerate slowly upon exiting Never pull out into traffic without checking left, then right, then left again Good driving means driving defensively Restrooms Make sure you wash your hands Use trash cans to throw out paper towels Show RR pass to adults when asked Toilet paper is not to be thrown on the floor Always flush when finished Never leave a mess Get back to class as soon as possible Classrooms Make sure you listen Understand that you are here to learn Sit quietly and work productively Take time to ask questions, read, write, and participate Always come prepared to learn and participate Never let the opportunity to learn pass you by Give 100 per cent all the time to achieve success academically Auditorium Move to the front Utilize the space available to allow everyone a seat Silence is golden during a speaker or a performance Take your time exiting and entering for safety Always be polite to the speaker or performer Never disrupt the speaker or performer by being loud Give the speaker or performer your undivided attention
