The Crucible Act III Questions

For each act of The Crucible, you will complete analysis questions over what you read. You must use complete sentences, supporting quotes, and in-depth analysis for each question, unless specified. Longer responses are specified in the assignment.

1. Using at least two quotes, compare and contrast the characters of Danforth and Hale. 2. Describe Mary Warren’s testimony at the end of Act III. What effect does this have on the plot? 3. Describe one static character and one dynamic character that you’ve seen in Act III. Why do some characters change and others stay the same? (Textual support)
