(Errors are generally first-draft in nature.) A Persuasive Composition: • states and maintains a position, authoritatively defends that position with precise and relevant evidence, and convincingly addresses the reader’s concerns, biases, and expectations.

Pick one of the following topics to write about. Your essay will include a combination of at least 10 complex and or compound-complex sentences, a thesis, introduction, body(s), and conclusion.

Think about something that you make or do well.   Write an essay in which you describe what you are an expert at and then explain why you are an expert. Use details and examples to support your ideas.

Use details and examples to support your ideas.
