2 Dr. Gene Lingerfelt

Dr. Gene Lingerfelt serves as the founding and senior pastor of Faith Christian Center in Arlington, Texas.

4 At the age of seventeen, Dr. Lingerfelt answered God's call to go into full-time ministry. In 1976, Gene married his high school sweetheart Sue, and each went on to earn degrees from Texas Christian University. Gene Lingerfelt

Dr. Lingerfelt later earned his doctorate from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Their ministry journey has since taken them around the world into over 40 nations during the course of over 42 years of ministry and marriage. Gene Lingerfelt

Faith Christian Center was pioneered on January 1, 1984 in a hotel ballroom. Over the years the church has grown and today the church's campus is located on 73 beautiful acres in the heart of the DFW metroplex. For more than 34 years, Dr. Gene and Sue Lingerfelt have taught people how to practically apply God's Word to their every day lives.

7 As a pastor and author, Dr. Lingerfelt has a reputation for his practical and relevant teaching. His books include The God Touch and 10 Words That Can Change Your Life.

Dr. Gene Lingerfelt has founded Faith Christian Center on January 1, 1984, in a hotel ballroom. For several years the church center has grown too far. Today the church’s campus is situated on 73 beautiful acres in the heart of the DFW Metroplex.

9 At Faith Christian Center, you will experience God’s presence and you will hear life-changing messages. A senior pastor of faith Christian centre Dr. Gene Lingerfelt believes that no matter what a person is facing or going through, God has a wonderful plan for their life.

As the church grew, the church planned and then built its first facility along I-30 in North Arlington. The church continued to grow and in 2006 the church moved to its current facilities at US Highway 287 and Eden Road in Arlington, Texas.
