The Vision of Children’s Needs in Focus BBIC:s Vision Provide a child’s rights based national structure for assessment, planning and follow up - with the child in focus Visionary goal: Children and young persons who get support and protection from social services shall get the same chances in life as all children and young persons in society

BBIC priorities Strengthen children participation and influence Improve cooperation with the child’s family and network Create structure and systematics in work so that outcome easier can be followed up Contribute to increased quality and rule of law

Coordination and support 27 regional BBIC-networks The National Board arranges national meetings for all regional representatives 2 - 3 times per year Twice a year we have joint meetings for BBIC regional representatives with the network for regional strategic leaders for development of the municipal child protection services, headed by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR) In 2016 we have offered 12 BBIC-training occasions for local trainers (circa 45 persons each time) In 2017 we are planning for 10 - 12 such events
