Introduction CEF Trails app would help you navigate through Clemson Experimental Forest. This app was created to allow the general public to more easily navigate the many trails in Clemson’s Experimental Forest. It will allow you to follow pre-set trails and even create your own custom routes. The app uses your location using GPS and displays your current surroundings in Google Maps.

Technologies used Javascript, HTML, CSS used for developing the authoring tool Database created using MySQL Java used for Android development

Authoring Tool Give the ability to the Clemson Forest Department to upload new trails and edit the existing ones. After updating the external database, the changes would be reflected on the app. Authoring tool also allows the Forest Department to browse media uploaded by the users. Points of interest or damaged items. Also allows the Forest Department to upload any media related to points of interest or the trails.
