Objective To make a perfect parachute. Describe the parachute performance, and discuss the experiments we’ve done.

Variable to be changed: Surface area Weight Variable to be kept constant: Length Number of strings

Procedures: We’ve made two parachutes We’ve tested both of the parachutes by landing them from the fifth floor Once we dropped the parachute, we started the stopwatch and measured the time of the flight.

Experiment 1 We tested our first parachute The parachute was heavy,less strings,and small canopy It didn’t went well We needed to make a change to make it better

Experiment 2 On the second experiment, we changed our parachute. We made the canopy bigger, make the strings longer, add more strings, and make the parachute lighter. It went really well It was more better than the previous experiment
