“IS KNOWING JESUS YOUR HIGHEST PRIORITY?” WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM PHILIPPIANS 3? “IS KNOWING JESUS YOUR HIGHEST PRIORITY?” 3 Themes A PRAYER TO PRAY PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 A PRINCIPLE TO LEARN Hit the Beat PHILIPPIANS 3:4-6 A PROMISE TO CLAIM PHILIPPIANS 3:7-14

QUESTION A PRAYER TO PRAY GROUP DISCUSSION PHILIPPIANS 4:6-7 QUESTION “ Do not be ANXIOUS about anything” Phil 4:6 “By PRAYER and PETITION present your requests to God.” Phil. 4:6 “By prayer and petition, with THANKSGIVING” Phil 4:6 “The PEACE OF GOD which surpasses all understanding.” Phil 4:7 “He will GUARD your HEARTS and your MINDS in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:7 Why would we not pray in a crisis, or when we are in need? Why Thank God if He hasn’t answered yet?

“I can DO ALL THINGS through Christ who gives me strength.” Phil. 4:13 GROUP DISCUSSION A PRICIPLE TO LEARN PHILIPPIANS 4:11-13 “I have learned the secret of being CONTENT in any and every situation.” Phil. 4:12 “I can DO ALL THINGS through Christ who gives me strength.” Phil. 4:13 “After all we brought nothing when we came into this world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So, if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.” 1 Tim 6:7-8. “... Give me neither poverty nor riches... For if I grow rich, I may deny you and say, “who is the Lord?” And if I am too poor, I may steal and thus insult God’s holy name.” Prov 30:7-9. QUESTION What are Paul’s 2 keys to Contentment? What kind of outside forces can impact your contentment? Since God doesn’t always change the outside forces, what needs to change in you to keep contentment?

QUESTION A PROMISE TO CLAIM GROUP DISCUSSION PHILIPPIANS 3:7-14 “As you know, you Philippians were the ONLY ONES who gave me financial help… No other church did this.” Phil. 4 :15 “My God will meet ALL YOUR NEEDS according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Phil. 4 :19 QUESTION Has God met any of your needs this week? How? Where can we see “Needs” Vs “Greed's” in our life (e.g. keeping up with the neighbours) how should we control this?

A PRAYTER TO PRAY A PRINCIPLE TO LEARN A PROMISE TO CLAIM CONCLUSION . A PRAYTER TO PRAY PRAY FOR ANYTHING & EVERYTHING THANK GOD IN ADVANCE . A PRINCIPLE TO LEARN I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST HAVE THE RIGHT PERSPECTIVE: PRAY FOR ENOUGH (Not too much or too little). . A PROMISE TO CLAIM GOD WILL MEET ALL YOUR NEEDS – Be aware of the difference between “Needs” and “Greeds”

RESPONSE PRAISE “1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  3 Know that the LORD is God. It is he who made us, and we are his ; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.”  Psalm 100

LET’S PRAY OUR PURPOSE To see the Kingdom of God come in our local area. Ephesians 6:18 “18 Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere..” NLT Pray for the local area – (use the Friday Prayer) Pray for needs that crop-up, Pray collectively for 5s (On the table), Pray for ourselves, Pray for the world. James 5:13 “13 Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises...”
