ELIGIBILITY AND PRODUCT INQUIRY Processors can access driver information from the work envelope instead of looking at the driving record

ELIGIBILITY AND PRODUCT INQUIRY From the work envelope, select VIEW-DRIVER PRODUCTS-ELIGIBILITY CHECK

PRODUCT INQUIRY Enter customers SSN or DID number. The screen will populate with information. Product inquiry will display information pertaining to the customers products. Click on the product inquiry icon (looks like a license/id card)

PRODUCT INQUIRY FROM WORK ENVELOPE Product inquiry may also be accessed within an open work envelope.

What does Product Inquiry Show? Legal Presence will show either US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Temporary Visitor. If it is a Temporary Visitor it will show an expiration date to the right. Products show what product/products an applicant holds or has held. It shows the type of license, when it was issued, when it expires (if a Temp Visitor, it will show an unadjusted date which refers to when the product would normally expire) The Product Detail shows the product status of the highlighted product. This will help in determining what application type will be needed and if any tests would be required…ie Eye Test. Legal Presence Status Products Applicant holds or has held Status of product which is highlighted

What does Product Inquiry Show? It also shows the restrictions which apply to the product highlighted. And if there are any product notations associated with the highlighted product. This is a good way to determine if the person had a FED MED card when the product was issued. Restrictions for product which is highlighted Product Notations for product which is highlighted

What does Product Inquiry Show? Product inquiry will also show Sponsor information for a minor. When you click on sponsor, it will bring up the Product Sponsor Maintenance which will show who the sponsor is for the product, when they started being sponsor and the date sponsorship is required through. It will also show any previous sponsors in the Sponsor History. Sponsor Information

What does Product Inquiry Show? Product inquiry will also provide information if the person ever held an out of state license. It will show if a person has moved TO or FROM another jurisdiction. State of Issuance ~ if applicant moved TO or FROM another state.

PDPS Screen Click on PDPS ENTRY FOUND to review entry When processing a DL product, you may encounter a PDPS hit. Click on PDPS entry found to review the entry. Click on PDPS ENTRY FOUND to review entry

PDPS Screen Verify the entry is a match to your applicant. If it is, then click on History to retrieve the entry from the other state, Then click on Results to see what the other state(s) are reporting.

PDPS HIT PROCESSING OOS RESIDENT ORG/DUP/RNW/REI/RSM and moving to WI INCLUDING 1st time residents AND returning WI residents. Look at DETAIL status. NOT/NEN~ Inform customer to contact state to reinstate status. ***STOP PROCESSING*** MUST look at Convictions/Withdrawals to verify if there are any OWI violations (on or after 1/1/89) or any Mandatory Convictions/Withdrawals with a conviction date of less than 5 yrs. If OWI/Mandatory exists, Complete MV3073 and fax to CAWS (RNS) LIC/ELG ~ Customer is OK in other state MUST look at Convictions/Withdrawals to verify if any OWI violations or Mandatory Convictions/Withdrawals exist.

PDPS HIT PROCESSING WI RESIDENT ORG/DUP/RNW/REI/RSM and has ALWAYS held a WI product. Look at DETAIL status. NOT/NEN ~ Inform customer they have a bad status in other state. MUST look at Convictions/Withdrawals to verify if there are any OWI violations (on or after 1/1/89) or any Mandatory Convictions/Withdrawals with a conviction date of less than 5 yrs. If NO OWI/Mandatory exists ~ Continue processing If OWI/Mandatory exists, CHECK DRIVER INQUIRY to see if violation was brought into the WI record. If Yes~ Continue processing. If NO~ STOP PROCESSING Complete MV3073 and fax to CAWS (RNS) LIC/ELG ~ Customer is OK in other state

Print OOS contact Information Shows OOS contact and phone number. Can print a letter with information to give to customer. Information is current and updated.
