Day One | 11/22 Arrive in Japan - Narita Airport Arrive in Terminal 1 South Wing at 4:40pm http://www.narita-airport.jp/en/map/ Pick up JR Pass & Narita Express (N’EX) ticket Head to Narita Terminal 1 Station (next slide) Visit the JR EAST Travel Service to exchange Japan Rail Pass Center: 8:15AM-7:00PM Go down escalators and wait on right-side for JR Line 1

Traveling from Narita Station → Tokyo Station JR Line 1 - Get on the Narita Express (N’EX)! (https://www.jrpass.com/blogs/jr-pass-on-the-narita-express) N’EX comes every 30 minutes Go straight to Tokyo Station Tokyo station to Ueno Station Ueno to Asakusa No elevator at Ueno station to get my luggage down to the subway so I had to take a taxi to Asukasa (~$15)

Arriving at Tokyo Accommodations Narita (N’EX train) → Tokyo (train) → Ueno (subway) → Asakusa subway station N’EX takes about an hour, comes every 30 minutes Subway map: http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/downloads/pdf/routemap_e.pdf Directions from Asakusa Subway Station Ended up taking a taxi – best choice I made that day. I was exhausted after that long flight and being alone, carrying my massive luggage, it was nice to have some help and be driven to my Air BnB.

Tokyo Day Three | Friday 11/24 Shinjuku Arrive right at dusk and visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Govt. Offices for the 45th floor observatory! Eat dinner - Chicken skewers at Omoide-yokocho restaurant Go to Yasukuni-dori: East Shinjuku’s main drag of pubs, karaoke, etc. Drink at the Golden Gai specifically Albatross G Early evening ramen! Nagi is located in Golden Gai Shibuya Meiji-jingo shrine: Open 6:10am – 4:10pm Check out Hachiko statue Busiest intersection in the world! Purikura no Mecca Across the street from station Shibuya → Harajuku station Harajuku Visit Takeshita-dori Famous street for teen fashion, many from all over the country visit Lunch at Harajuku Gyoza-ro! Shop around after eating and wander

Tokyo Day Four | Saturday 11/25 Tokyo Disney Sea! Spend the day in the Japan exclusive park Shopping End day with Jakotsu Onsen Open 1pm to midnight Towel Fee: Y140 or $1.27

Tokyo Day Five| Sunday 11/26 Whatever! Anything you want to repeat? Last night in Tokyo! Asakusa Go to Sumida River to view sunrise! Senso-ji temple Daytime shot Tokyo SkyTree Chingo-do (Buddhist temple) Asakusa-jinja (Shinto shrine) Ueno Historic Yanaka Ueno Tosho-gu (Shinto shrine) Ueno-koen (park) Kiyomizu Kannon-do (Buddhist temple) Shibuya for Yoyogi park? Tokyo → Kyoto Travel day | Monday 11/27 Take the Shinkansen Hikari train from Tokyo →Kyoto Station. 2 hr 40 min ONLY take Hikari train.
