Sandy: Yes, and the last thing he said, was: “I’ll ring you tomorrow” Zoe: Well, tomorrow isn’t finished yet. Sandy: No, but it’s eight o’clock. What’re you doing tonight? Do you fancy going for a drink? Zoe: I’d love to, but John is coming round and we’re going for a meal. Sandy: Well, I’m not going to sit here waiting for a phone to ring. I know, I’ll phone Becky.
