Say Yes Buffalo Scholarship Application Instructions 1 Go to www.SayYesBuffalo.org/apply and click the APPLY NOW button On the Welcome Screen, click the orange Apply Now button below the login boxes The next screen is the Student Application. Enter the information needed on the form. When you are finished, click to check the box under Account Confirmation and then click the button to Submit Application. Now you will see a screen called My Account. Here you will need to create a password and enter your email address. Remember to write down your password! You should also enter your contact information in the boxes provided. Click the check box at the bottom to confirm the information is correct and click the Update button 2 3 4

You should now see your “status” at the top of the screen. If it says My Status: Ineligible, you will need to file an Appeal. Click the button on the left side of the screen for Appeals and on the form provided explain why you think you should be considered for eligibility. For example you hold refugee status (upload a copy of your I94 form), you have McKinney Vento status (upload proof) or you believe your eligibility was calculated incorrectly (upload a transcript). For more information about the appeals process visit www.SayYesBuffalo.org/appeal. If it says My Status: Eligible, your next step is to click “School Interest” to enter the name of the college you plan to attend. You can enter more than one college if you are not yet sure which college you will be going to. To add a college click the Add School button at the top of the page and a new window will open up with the title Edit School Interest. Enter the information needed in the boxes provided. If you have already submitted your paperwork to the college to officially enroll for the next semester, click the check box next to Enrolled Click the button to Save School Interest Eligible 5a 5b John Smith You are finished! Remember to log back in after you know for sure what college you will be going to and make sure that information is correct in the School Interest tab.
