TFD 8000 A Collaborative Effort between then Gary Smith (then a Sales Rep) and David Wright (a young TFS Sales Manager) for the US Navy Still being sold (issued a new 5 year contract) and now going through a Technology Refresh Incorporating MMC Technology on the Front End Maintaining the Signal Distribution already in place Represents a Key change in architecture 1st Generation Smart Clock Technology (SCT) Internal reference signals travel the backplane of a multi-slot chassis. Each OSM develops the format of the desired output from that internal reference.

MMC The MMC has built-in anti-spoofing technology. The Rb oscillators are characterized at the factory so that the Master Clock Modules (MCM) can detect small changes in time and frequency in the reference input. Each reference is continually monitored whether used or not to determine validity 5 different reference inputs allow the user to determine the failover path if references fail GPS (SAASM)/GNSS HQ-1PPS IRIG 10 MHz Crosslink OSM

MMC Complete status available from any control method Including units connected via Fiber Histograms of the control loops are available from the utility, and front panel Unit has the ability to record a recurring event for trouble shooting purposes. The customer can record the issue and send the file to the factory for analysis by engineering
