I’m with You

Matthew 1:22-23 22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

Immanuel describes who Jesus is – “God is with us in person!”

Immanuel means the transcendent God over us is God present with us!

Immanuel is the very presence of God the Father who came to live among us!

The most frequent promise of the Bible is “I will be with you.”

A Two-Part Experiment

“I’m going to live this day with God!” Psalm 143:8 Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.

“I’m going to be with somebody else as God is with me!” 1 John 3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Pray that you will have the courage to “do” the love of Jesus this week, wherever God takes you!
