December 17 to December 21 MISS SAGLIMBENI Pre – k 3 nsaglimbeni@stlucys. org 718-882-2203 Fun at Home: At home you can help too. Talk to your child about clothes, discuss with them the fabric how it feels and how clothes are made. Repeat to your child as they are getting dress in the morning, this is a coat, we wear coats because it is cold outside, what do you think this material / fabric is. This will help your child with new vocabulary which we will use throughout the unit. Also, when you go shopping for clothes talk to your child how clothes are organized at a store. Last but not least read to your child and help then name what the characters are wearing and why. December 17 to December 21 This week we will be discussing the following, How do we take care of our clothes? The students will be able to talk about the different ways we can care for our clothes. We will also talk about how to put clothes on and take them off. We will compare the different types of clothing we see everyday. This week we will be discussing and exploring the holiday of Christmas.
