Jay Maisel information Jay Maisel was born on January 18, 1931. He has not died yet he is 83 years old. He was born in Brooklyn, NY. Since he has not died he now lives in his hometown Brooklyn, NY. He uses digital for his pictures. These are some of Maisel’s most famous photographs.

Pictures I Liked the Most Flock of Birds Maine Forest Mist

Pictures I Liked the Most Marilyn Monroe Purple Skyline

My reflection I choose Jay Masiel because of his theme of his pictures. The way he catches somethings out of no where and the way his pictures almost try and tell a story. Like the one with the apple two wine glasses a bottle a cup of pencils and the light. To me it looks like a poor man couldn’t give his wife a very good dinner but he improvised. I’m sure that’s not what Jay Masiel meant when he took the picture but that is what I get out of it.
