Take DynaMed Plus with you on your tablet or smartphone wherever you go. It’s fast and easy to access the clinical information users need on their iPhone, iPad or Android device.

The DynaMed Plus app is available as a free download from the iTunes App store for iPhone/iPad or Google Play for Android devices.

If you are connected to your institution's Internal Network or Local Internet via Wi-Fi, tap Institutional Network and then tap Authenticate to log in to the app. Please note, this authentication type must first be enabled by your institution.

If you have previously created a personal DynaMed Plus account, you can authenticate the app using those credentials. Tap Sign In and enter your personal user account credentials. Then tap the Sign In button.

You can also send yourself an Access Link from your institution’s DynaMed Plus account. To send the Access Link, do the following.

Log into DynaMed Plus and click the Get the DynaMed Plus Mobile App link under Spotlight on the DynaMed Plus home screen. Enter your email address and click Send. An email with an authentication key is sent to you.

Access the email from your device and click the link found in the email to authenticate the application. You have 48 hours to access the key from your device to authenticate the app. If the key is not used within 48 hours, it expires and you will need a new key.

Once you have authenticated the app, the date through which you are authenticated is displayed. Tap Continue.

Choose an installation option and tap Continue Choose an installation option and tap Continue. If you choose Partial install, full images are displayed in the app on demand when your device is connected to the internet. It is recommended that your device be connected to wi-fi and plugged in to a power source during installation.

From the home screen of the app, you can browse content by category, browse the available calculators, view your bookmarks and history, or view Recent Updates to DynaMed Plus content.

To search the app, tap the search box on the home screen and the onscreen keyboard is displayed.

Begin entering your search terms in the Search box Begin entering your search terms in the Search box. As you type, topics matching your terms appear. Select a DynaMed Plus topic under the Go To section to access the topic directly, or select a search term under Search For to view a result list. You can also tap the Search button on your device’s keyboard to view a result list.

Result List items may include DynaMed Plus Topics, Images, and Calculators. Tap a result list item to view it. You can go directly to a section of a topic by tapping the section headers below the topic title.

Tap Images to view the images related to your search.

Tap Calcs to view the calculators related to your search.

From a DynaMed Plus Topic, there are several options available. Navigate directly to a section of the topic using the list on the left. Tap the + (plus) icon to view the most recent updates to the Topic. Tap the bookmark icon to add the Topic to your bookmarks. Tap the share icon to email the Topic. Tap the note icon to add a note to the Topic on your device.

Note, if you are viewing the app in portrait mode, tap the magnifying glass icon to view the list of sections of the topic that you can jump to.

You can view your Bookmarks and History by tapping the Bookmarks icon at the top right of the Search screen. Bookmarks are displayed by default. Tap History to view items you have viewed recently.
