Week 1: Vocabulary and Roots Objective: students each week will have 10 vocabulary words and five Greek/Latin preparing for Standardized Testing (ISAT, ACT, PSAT, SAT etc.)

Nullify Definition: to render or declare legally void or inoperative: to nullify a contract. Use in a sentence

Creditable Definition: bringing or deserving credit, honor, reputation, or esteem Use it in a sentence

Objective Definition: something that one's efforts or actions are intended to attain or accomplish; purpose; goal; target Use it in a sentence

Bigot Definition: a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion. Use it in a sentence

Obliterate Definition: to remove or destroy all traces of; do away with; destroy completely. Use it in a sentence
