Transport Flights We are flying with Jet2 Newcastle to Rome: Monday October 15th DEPART 07:55 – ARRIVE 12:00 Rome to Newcastle: Friday October 19th DEPART 12:45 – ARRIVE 15:10 We are meeting at the airport at 05:45 on Monday 15th October - beside the Jet2 check in desk. Collect at the international arrivals on Friday 19th October.

Journey For the trip the children will be provided with a cap and they must wear their school sweatshirt. They will need a rucksack to take on board and a suitcase for the hold. The suitcase allowance is 20KG The rucksack allowance is a small rucksack Luggage needs to be clearly labelled with luggage tags and the return labels need to be packed into the suitcase ready for us to attach on the way back.

Insurance The trip will be covered by South Tyneside LA insurance policy.

Accommodation Hotel delle Muse First meal will be dinner on the Monday evening. After this all breakfasts, lunches and evening meals are included in the price.

What we will be doing…. Rome City Centre The Vatican – including the Papal Audience The Colosseum The Catacombs The Pantheon The Spanish Steps & Trevi Fountain The Zoo All of these trips are included in the price as well as using public transport.

Medical All medical needs must be explained on the medical forms. Any medication needs to be handed into school by Friday, September 28th. – clearly labelled. Completion of a calpol/paracetamol sheet. Children need their own sun cream and insect repellent in their suitcase. A first aid kit will be carried by the staff at all times.

Money… Children are allowed to bring ??? euros in spending money. This needs to be handed into school by Friday, September 28th. in a clearly labelled envelope. They will not need any more….and may bring some back!!

Personal Belongings No electrical games including nintendos, ipods, ipads, iphones are allowed. A camera is allowed to allow the children to record their memories – remember to pack the chargers or extra batteries – in the suitcase. A water bottle to be filled each day – with their name on it.

Clothing Children need to have an outfit to wear for the Vatican visit Girls MUST have their shoulders and knees covered. Boys MUST have longer shorts or trousers. All other clothing can be found on the kit list.
