ATJ Year in Review: Strides in Building the 100% Access Continuum Renee Danser May 2018 Katherine ALteneder, Executive Director of SRLN, will review the emerging trends in access to civil justice innovations in the courts, legal aid and the bar, including highlights of the role of triage, technology and user centered co-design that are meaningfully contributing to building a continuum of services so that every person gets the legal help they need, when they need it and in a format they can use. Everyone – state, county, municipal, admin NO right to counsel, BUT can lead to incarceration When it is not working, it impairs their ability to meet their goals or mission, whether a business seeking a profit, a school trying to educate people, or a non-profit trying to enrich people’s lives Can use mapping to find out where Snags up economy – and erodes the rule of law, trust and confidence, as well as other economic and social impacts It depends – segment and target message
