A. How many square feet of lament floors will be needed? You find the areavto be 180ft2. By taking the area of the living room, 10×12, you find the 12 by adding the other side of the bedroom side together. Then multiply 5×12= the area for the hallway Add 60, the hallway area, to the 120 ft2

B. How many sqaured yard of lamented floors will be needed? use the formulabto find the yard by dividing 180 by 3 The total is 60 yards

C. The couple can hire professional workers from Lowe’s or Home Depot to finalize their flooring project. If labor is hired an additional to buying the raw material, a discounted price becomes available. The area was estimated at 200 square feet. How many additional sqaure feet of laminate flooring was ordered? Take 200 and subtract the 180 ft2 you find that it’s 20 ft2

D. Suppose that the discounted cost per sqaure foot of laminate flooring was $2.50. How much would be spent on laminate flooring at this price if labor is hired? Take $2.50×200 ft2 This gives you $500

E. Find the dollar value of the wasted laminate flooring. Take the $2.5£0 and multiply it by the 20 ft2 that was wasted This gives you $50

F. If it takes 1.2 hours to install 50 ft2 of laminate flooring, how long is it going to take for the work to be concluded? Divide 180 ft2 by 50 ft2 This gives you 3.6 Take the 3.6 and multiply it by the 1.2 hour This gives you 4 hours and 32 minutes
